phenomenal Mower for Smaller Lawns : Sun Joe MJ420C Mow Joe 16-Inch 24 Volt Cordless Electric Reel Lawn Mower With Grass Catcher
My first order came damaged due to poor containers but I was very, very happy that the transfer was received in 2 days, Wow! So I raced home to put together since they were predicting rain and I needed to get my small lawn cut quickly. The instructions were very clear and easy to understand. The only tools needed were a basic pair of plyers.
On the good side, the mower is very light (once you take off the battery) and easy to manuever. It also came fully expensed so I was able to mow immediately.
On the down side, the conjecture it is so light is it is 95% plastic. I have a sloped yard and found the bag totally impossible to use the way it sits so low to the ground. I tried cutting both over the slope and up and down the slope but it is undoubtedly designed to be used on flat even ground. Plus the build is kind of strange, it is like playing basketball, the top of the bag is open and the grass is supposed to land in the bag, I guess it would be a fun game for kids and a good way to get them to cut the grass. I would advise just wearing long pants and going without the bag. I commonly don't bag anyway but you have to go over any times to get the supervene of a mulching mower.
Also, and this is probably worse than the bag is that the cope is very flimsy, half way straight through mowing I noticed the whole mower was cock-eyed since I was cutting on the slope and putting more pressure on one side.
Overall, so far, I am happy with the puny green engine as I hate having to drag prolongation cords all over when using an galvanic mower and I am too environmentally known to use a gas mower. It is quiet and easy to use and I felt like I got a bit of a workout in the process, which is a good thing. I was thinking it would be a bit self-propelled but it is not at all, just the blades are motorized. Also it requires very puny storage space and the cope is undoubtedly removed so it can get in tight spaces. I think this was one of the lowest priced rechargable mowers so I was not expecting too much out of it, just so it gives me a few years of aid I will be happy.
